A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

As an EMT at Patriot your job is important. Whether providing transportation for patients with one of our partnerships or responding to emergency calls you approach your job with practical skills that you have learned during your experience and training. Your patient safety and health are your biggest priorities. The key to your success is that you remain calm and friendly even in challenging situations. You approach each call with empathy and professionalism. Usually you are rewarded with appreciation for the exceptional care you provide but occasionally things don’t go as planned. QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

EMT-B license in the State of Michigan

Valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record

Ability to pass criminal background screening and drug test

Authorized to work in the US

For individual taking advantage of free training program with American Training Institute

High school diploma, GED, dual-enrolled high school senior, home school equivalent, or college graduate with official transcripts.

Valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record

Proof of vaccinations
